Hi, I'm Doreen, owner and baker behind Doe Bakes Dough.
Like many home bakers, I started by baking for family and friends. Before long, I found myself completely captivated by the art of sourdough—the patience, the process, and the incredible flavor that comes from doing things the traditional way. What began as a simple experiment quickly became a passion for making each loaf better than the last through long fermentation, organic ingredients, and time-honored baking methods.
As my love for baking grew, so did the menu. My home kitchen eventually became Doe Bakes Dough, a fully licensed home bakery offering organic sourdough, cinnamon rolls, cookies, muffins, and other fresh-baked favorites.
Everything is handcrafted in small batches using quality organic ingredients and never any preservatives. My goal is simple: to create baked goods that bring people together while staying true to the values of real ingredients, traditional baking, and exceptional flavor.
There is something special about pulling a loaf from the oven and knowing it will be part of someone's family dinner that night.
